Skillet have got some good songs. They're meant to be playing download festival this year which will inevitably be cancelled

Re: Christian Rock Bands
The show tonight was meant to be one of those ones where a band plays a full album ( Darklands in this case) & then various other songs in the second half.
Saw them a few years ago and these days because they don’t drink (as much) they play for longer. And better.
Shame as was looking forward to it but as said they have already rescheduled it for February next year.

Re: Christian Rock Bands
A classmate was massively in into them. I never saw the point of making the trek to London from Essex to see two moody twats make a fucking feedback racket for 15 minutes.

What's their decent track?

Just like Honey I think.

I liked that one.

Sven.

I loved the Mary chain. I was playing 'Physcocandy' the other night.

Re: Christian Rock Bands
A true Christian would surely have to have a record player that played the music backwards so that he could hear the hidden meaning deliberately placed there by the Lord without the knowledge of the musicians who had actually made the recording.

Was meant to be seeing JESUS & MARY CHAIN at The Roundhouse tonight.
Rearranged already to Feb 2021

That’s all

Christian Rock ? Always thought of as a bit of an OXYMORON innit?

Tbh got zero knowledge of it but the stuff I've heard is often really well produced.

Any playlist recommendations appreciated

Re: Christian Rock Bands
Creed were pretty much a Christian rock band.

I know the lead singer liked the coke and the birds but there were loads of Christian themes and imagery in their lyrics.

Great band.
